Since all aspects of the believer are interconnected, each part affects the other. Therefore, this class addresses not only the spiritual, but the emotional, mental, physical and relational areas as well. To be effective ministers of Christ we must remove the plank from our own eye before we see fit to remove the speck from another's. The Foundation & Transformation class concentrates on this process; discovering the student's individual gifting, talents, strengths and weaknesses and working through them. This class consists of three quarters (Fall, Winter, Spring) and is open to anyone interested in learning more about what it means to live the Christian life. No pressure shall be exerted (nor tolerated) upon any person to make a commitment of faith at any time during the year. We believe it is a deeply personal decision and only in an environment of respect and freedom can an individual make an informed and genuine decision. The class format includes a one hour interactive lesson, a fifteen minute break, followed by a forty-five minute small group session. This session is provided to process the information given and work through any
issues that may have arisen from the subject matter covered.
