We begin at 7:00pm with approximately fifteen minutes of quiet prayer to draw near to the Lord and remember the needs of our loved ones, our leaders and those with special needs. After prayer, a scripture reading for the day is read with a chance for everyone present to comment upon the scripture. Afterwards, individuals may make their personal prayer needs known and each one is prayed for in turn with the laying on of hands and anointing oil on the forehead if they so desire. The service ends at 9:00pm, but those in attendance are free to leave as soon as they are prayed for.
We are not afraid to deal with serious problems or sensitive issues. People join us who present needs such as chronic or acute physical illness, severe and persistent mental illness, emotional problems as well as college students who want prayer for an upcoming exam. We invite you to come experience the peace and acceptance of the Lord as we reach out to Him together in prayer.
